SNOW ON SATURDAY

SNOW ON SATURDAY, a 12 minute film by Little Fish Productions, marks the directorial debut of actress Imogen Stubbs, who co-wrote the film with Serena Gordon.

Synopsis: A bereaved father and his two sons build Stonehenge out of cars.

The film was produced by Carl Proctor & Serena Gordon. The Director of Photography was Mike Fox. Sound was by Mike Lax and the Editor was Joe McNally.

The sound track is composed by Roger Eno. A David Bowie track is featured.

The film stars Paul Bradley (who played Nigel in EASTENDERS) as well as two young boys (Will Rendle and Billy Smith) both making their first film appearances.

SNOW ON SATURDAY was premiered at the Hamburg Short Film Festival and won the UCI Cinema Best British Short Film Award at the Kino Film Festival in Manchester in 2001.

The film has been selected by The Short Film Bureau who are in charge of sales, and The British Council who are currently submitting the film to festivals around the world.

It has recently been shown at the Curzon Shaftesbury Avenue as part of Birds Eye View, and is being screened in an elevator on Brighton Beach as part of the Brighton Festival 2003.

Serena and Imogen are currently finishing a treatment for a series about 2 friends who are single mothers working and living together in Brighton. The working title is BADMUMS.COM

They have also written a modern adaptation of THE MASTER BUILDER for TV and are developing another TV series based on novels by Janet Laurence, on the theme of Food and Crime: think Nigella Lawson crossed with Inspector Morse.
