Serena Gordon, Carl
Proctor and Imogen
Stubbs met
at RADA in 1983 and have remained friends ever since. They set
up Little Fish Productions in 2001.
Their short
film SNOW ON SATURDAY won
the UCI Best British Short Film Award at the Kino Short Film
Festival in Manchester in 2001 and has recently been shown
at the Curzon
Shaftesbury Avenue as part of Birds Eye View. It is being screened
in an elevator on Brighton Beach as part of the Brighton Festival
2003.

Serena is producing Imogen’s first play WE
HAPPY FEW with Nic Lloyd at Malvern.
Serena and Imogen are currently finishing a treatment for a series
about 2 friends who are single mothers working and living together
in Brighton. The working title is BADMUMS.COM
They
have also written a modern adaptation of THE
MASTER BUILDER and are developing another series for television
based on 12 novels written by Janet Laurence, on the theme of Food
and Crime: think Nigella Lawson crossed with Inspector Morse.

Serena Gordon's West End appearances include A
MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, THE CIRCLE, THE
TEMPEST and VALUED FRIENDS.
On television she has had leading roles in THE
MESSIAH, INSIDERS, TILL
WE MEET AGAIN, A TALE OF TWO CITIES, SHERLOCK
HOLMES, KINSEY, ARISTOCRATS, MONARCH
OF THE GLEN, OTHER PEOPLE'S CHILDREN and MIDSOMMER
MURDERS.
She appeared in the James Bond film GOLDENEYE opposite
Pierce Brosnan and with Gillian Anderson in THE
HOUSE OF MIRTH (where she wore a very odd wig).
CARL PROCTOR
Carl Proctor is an experienced casting director, producer, director
and actor.
His casting credits include BLOOD CREEK directed by Joel Schumacher, SHADOW OF THE
VAMPIRE with John Malkovich & Willem Dafoe, which
received two Oscar nominations, THE WEDDING DATE with Deborah Messing and Trevor Nunn's film of TWELFTH
NIGHT with an all-star cast.
He co-produced the feature film MAD
DOGS (cast includes Jonathan Pryce, Indera Varma & Paul Barber).
Directing work includes the plays LOW
LEVEL PANIC and FREELANCERS
which ran very successfully in London and at The Edinburgh Festival.
Acting work includes GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS at The Donmar Warehouse
(directed by Sam Mendes) and TIMON OF ATHENS at The Young Vic (directed
by Trevor Nunn). Films include ONE MORE
KISS, MRS PALFREY AT THE CLAREMONT, PHOENIX BLUE (due
for release this year). Recent TV includes episodes of CORONATION
STREET.

IMOGEN
STUBBS
Imogen Stubbs is an actress of international repute. She has worked
extensively in the theatre, including the RSC, The National Theatre
and on the West End. She has numerous TV and film credits. Major
film roles include ERIC
THE VIKING,
TRUE COLORS, SENSE
AND SENSIBILITY and TWELFTH NIGHT.
As a writer
she contributes regularly to international magazines and newspapers.
She has written
screenplays and theatre
scripts. SNOW ON SATURDAY is her directorial debut.
Imogen's first play, WE HAPPY FEW was produced by Little fish
Productions in November 2003.
Imogen has also written a play (with music) WAY
BEYOND BLUE about
Jeff Buckley and Eva Cassidy to be directed by Trevor Nunn. |
