In 2002 Imogen
Stubbs and Serena
Gordon initiated a
production of Chekov's THREE SISTERS, in which they played Masha
and Olga respectively. This co-production with the Nuffield Theatre
Southampton and Bath Theatre Royal, toured the country and received
excellent reviews.
Future plans include a production of Ibsen's THE
DOLLS HOUSE. Serena and Imogen have also written a modern
adaptation of THE MASTER BUILDER.
Imogen's first play, WE
HAPPY FEW, is being produced by Serena and Nic Lloyd at
Malvern in November of this year. Little Fish Productions are currently
looking for sponsors to support this production.

We
Happy Few: A Play with Music, Inspired by the Osiris Players
Illustrated News, August 5, 1939 School children delight in the Osiris Comany's production
of Julius Caesar. These seven plucky women are stepping into men's
shoes to bring culture to the people of war-torn Britain for the
price of a bag of humbugs. They travel in an old Rolls Royce, and
when petrol's short, by horse and cart, or even by canoe. They
turn drab schoolrooms into honest-to-goodnes theatres, and tackle
all the problems of make-up. lighting, sound effects and catering.
Their repertory includes 22 Shakespeare plays, Greek
tragedy, Victorian melodrama, Shaw, Coward, A A Milne and other
Modern Plays. In the
afternoon they ring up the curtain on a Shakespearean drama
and in the evening they strike up the band for a musical revue.
They'll
not give up until the job is done, 'till they've preserved
our great British culture from Jerry's jackboot. So lend them your
ears and let's cheer them on.
